Let’s get to know about Thailand Pass

Thailand was reopened on November 1, the COE has been canceled and changed to Thailand Pass.

Thailand Pass is a system for registering for entry into Thailand (by air). It is a newly developed system and is designed to make the documentation process of travelers entering Thailand more efficient. Make it more convenient for travelers. The goal is to support travel facilitation policies. Under the concept of “Ease of Traveling”, it will reduce the process of filling out documents and uploading documents of travelers entering Thailand. Including filling out the T.8 (health survey) in the Thailand Pass as well.

Registration documents 

  1. Passport
  2. Certificate of Vaccination with QR Code
  3. Insurance with minimum coverage of 50 000 USD
  4. Paid AC / SHA+ hotel reservation confirmation 
  5. Thai Visa (if required) 

Arrival in Thailand

Travelers must have proof of a negative RT-PCR test, which is tested 72 hours before leaving the country of origin and will be tested again for COVID-19 upon arrival in Thailand.

On the Thailand Pass website, there are 3 main topics to choose from, with only one topic. Once entering Thailand, it cannot be changed. The condition can be viewed as follows:

1. Exemption from Quarantine (Test and Go)

Conditions

  1. Travellers from eligible countries territories only
  2. Exempted from quarantine after testing negative for COVID-19 (RT- PCR) after arrival in Thailand
  3. Travel from a port of departure in eligible country / territory and have stayed in eligible countries / territories for at least 21 consecutive days
  4. Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 no less than 14 days before travelling
  5. Obtain a negative COVID-19 test result (RT-PCR), issued within 72 hours before travelling

Documents

  1. Passport
  2. Thai Visa (if required)
  3. Certificate of Vaccination with QR Code
  4.  Paid AQ / SHA+ hotel reservation confirmation (for the duration of 1 day and including the fee for one RT-PCR test)
  5. Insurance with minimum coverage of 50.000 USD

2. Sandbox Programme

Conditions

  1. Travellers from eligible countries territories only
  2. Stay in the Sandbox area for 7 days and will be able to travel in Thailand thereafter
  3. Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 no less than 14 days before travelling
  4. Obtain a negative COVID-19 test result (RT-PCR), issued within 72 hours before travelling

Documents

  1. Passport
  2. Thai Visa (if required)
  3. Certificate of Vaccination with QR Code
  4. Paid SHA+ hotel reservation confirmation throughout the 7 days period (including the fee for RT-PCR test and Antigen Self-test Kit)
  5. Insurance with minimum coverage of 50.000 USD

3. Alternative Quarantine

Conditions

  1. Travellers from eligible countries territories only
  2. Stay in the quarantine for 10 days and will be able to Travel in Thailand thereafter
  3. Fully vaccinated is not requires under this scheme

Documents

  1. Passport
  2. Thai Visa (if required)
  3. Certificate of Vaccination with QR Code
  4. V Paid AQ hotel reservation confirmation (fully paid or deposit at least 15.000 THB / 500 USD) (including the fee for two RT-PCR tests)
  5. Insurance with minimum coverage of 50.000 USD

Remark : 

Be careful !! When you upload files for the Vaccination Certificates part and Insurance Policy Number. For Golf Quarantine be careful at Booking ID too.
